"I DON'T REALLY KNOW
WHO IS GAY. MY GAYDAR IS BAD.
SOMETIMES I'M SURE,
BUT I'M TOO SCARED TO RISK IT.
I'M CHICKEN."

PLACE PAPINEAU, BONJOUR

For obvious reasons,
all portraits remain anonymous.
No picture will be shown.

Portraits and interviews of my neighbours in the gay district of Montréal. The book talks about community and homosexuality.
A double reading is provided. The neighbours’life appears on the outside because they confided consciously.
Inside, it is captured within the fold of pages by the intrusive video surveillance system (japanese binding).
